Can God be trusted? Are you sure he can?

I have a twofold question to ask and answer this afternoon: Can God be trusted and can God trust you? When we look at the trust: which is firm belief in the reliability, truth, or ability of someone or something. We can trust God because of His integrity: Honesty and strong moral principles

God can be trusted because of his Faithfulness

“For the word of the Lord is right and true; he is faithful in all he does. The Lord loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of his unfailing love.” (Psalm 33:4-5 NIV)

If we doubt God, the issue is not over God’s ability to support us. He clearly can do that, but if we doubt his abilities, little can he do.

God’s Sovereignty

God can be trusted because of his sovereignty: supreme ruler of the universe, powerful enough to overcome any problem or defeat any enemy: “Everything comes from him; Everything happens through him; Everything ends up in him” (Romans 11:36 MSG).

God can be trusted because of his Love

God is love (1 John 4:16), so we know he is patient and kind. He’s never rude or self-seeking; he’s not easily angered, and he keeps no record of wrongs. He does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. He always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres. He never fails (1 Corinthians 13:4-8).

God can be trusted because of his Fairness

God is always fair (Deuteronomy 32:4); he’s pure and honest (Hebrews 6:18). He cannot break a promise (Numbers 23:19), never fails to fulfil a promise (Joshua 21:45) and is trustworthy in everything he does (Psalm 33:4).

For those who prayed in the past and saw the hand of God – testify to his faithfulness are convinced that God can be trusted

  1. Creation-EARLY IN LIFE you became aware that God exists. When you wondered about the source, the cause, the nature, or the purpose of things, your natural curiosity pointed you toward a Supreme Being. (Rom 1:19-20)  (Prov 8:17-21)  (Prov 9:10) (Mark 7:6-9) How do we find our way out of ignorance? How can we come to understand the integrity of God?

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways [My ONE Reality] higher – than your ways [The many satanic and human realities] and my Thoughts higher than your thoughts. (Isa 55:9 Numbers 23:19English Standard Version (ESV) 19 God is not man, that he should lie,
or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfil it?

Romans 1: 19 For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. 20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.

The second part of the question Can God trust you?

Genesis 6:6

And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

Why? 5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

7 And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

Trust does not doubth:  Yet because of human: Weakness, unfairness, evil imagination of man’s thoughts of heart. The The more mankind try with thier abilities to please God, the more we displease him.

Those God can trust are those:

  • who belief in his son Jesus John 3:18

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

  • led by His spirit Romans 8:14

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

  • Continued to love him John 8:42

Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.

  • keep his commandment 1 John 5:3

For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous

  • called according to his purpose Romans 8:28

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Can God rally trust you? Are sure he can?

I am not judging you- but many people I have conversation with most times don’t seem to understand who God is and who they are.

  • When you still curse, hold bitterness, envy, unforgiving spirit, malice- again am not God but I don’t think if all these things are still present in your life would be hard for me to trust you not less God.

God will not stoop low to your level, he want you to grow up to more like His son Jesus Christ.

Repent: Acts 3:19

19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

God bless you!
